Since 1964, we have been providing quality branded product solutions for everyone from corporations to educational institutions. Our rich history dates back to 1903 and is full of branding successes and satisfied clients, and that tradition continues to hold true today.
T.D. MILLS NOW
2016
Thomas (Tom) and Doreen (Dori) Garman bought the T.D. Mills business. They began a restructuring of staff, implemented a new order processing system and hired a full-time warehouse manager, delivery person, and a second graphic artist.
2019
Anticipating continued growth, the Garman's purchased the property at 1026 Cocoa Avenue. They renovated the building to include office spaces for 5 sales people, additional storage, and a conference room. The property at 1020 Cocoa Avenue was renovated at the same time to include an updated showroom with a large screen monitor allowing sales staff to show their customers the most up to date products on the market.
2020
The E-Commerce portion of the business was growing and called for additional staff to be put in place. Several part-time employees were hired to assist with packing orders, which led to the creation of a formal Fulfillment Team that handles the many phases of the order fulfillment process.
2021
A part-time Marketing person was hired, and a year-long marketing plan was implanted that included TD Mills expanding their relationships with the community and having a greater social media presence.
2022
the Ecommerce portion of the business continued to expand and so a Webstore Coordinator position was created to assist the Sales Staff with entering orders as well as working with the CSR team with resolving order questions and issues.
2024
As T.D. Mills enters its 59th year of business, it has grown to nearly 20 employees, encompasses 2 buildings and includes a warehouse/fulfillment facility.
In 2024, T.D. Mills will celebrate a milestone 60th Year in Business.
OUR HISTORY
1903
Myers Manufacturing Company was founded by Abraham Myers. They manufactured calendars and fly swatters and became distributers of imprinted and promotional products.
1947
Thomas D. Mills, Jr (Tim) joined the company and shared business operations with his father-in-law (George A. Myers) and brother-in-law (George M. Myers) until 1963.
1964
Tim parted ways with Myers Manufacturing Company and started T.D. Mills Advertising in New Cumberland, PA. He would travel as far as Ohio for weeks at a time to call on customers.
1971
Tim's son, Thomas D. Mills III (Tom) joined the T.D. Mills Advertising business as a second traveling salesman. One could find Tom driving his 60-mile radius territory in his VW bus (pictured above) with a catalog. The father and son duo built T.D. Mills into one of the leading promotional products distributors in Central Pennsylvania.
1989
Tom bought the business, changed the name to T.D. Mills Promotional Products, and moved it to its present location at 1020 Cocoa Avenue in Hershey, PA.
2014
T.D. Mills Promotional Products Celebrates 50 Years in business.
2016
Tom sold the business to Thomas (Tom) and Doreen (Dori) Garman in June of that year. Tom had 30+ years in the promotional products industry and Dori worked at Milton Hershey School for over 30 years. Tom Mills thought very highly of Tom Garman and sought him out to discuss taking over the business. Everyone was excited to begin the next chapter of the company's legacy.
